  1. William Wade born about 1780 in Whepstead, Suffolk, died before 1851. He married Charlotte Smith, born about 1780 in Lawshall, Suffolk, (daughter of Edward Smith).
    In the 1841 census, William and Charlotte were living at Breling(?) Green, Lawshall, Suffolk. Thomas, their son, aged 33 was living with them.
    A Henrietta Wade, born about 1753 in Suffolk & Sarah Wade, born about 1791 in Suffolk, lived close to them.
    In the 1851 census, Charlotte was a widow, living with her unmarried son, Thomas, and her grandson, James Beals, born about 1841 in Lawshall.
    In the 1871 census, Sarah lived next door to Thomas, and had a lodger, John Lamson. His place of birth was given as Hawstead.

    2. William Wade (1.William1) born 1804, Whepstead, Suffolk, married Hannah Goldsmith, baptised 1 August 1813, Brandeston, Suffolk, (daughter of William Goldsmith and Mary Bedwell).
    In the 1851 census, William and his family were living at Great Green in Bradfield St. George. William was a Blacksmith. His place of birth was shown as Bradfield St. George.
    In 1861 they were living at Maypole Green, Bradfield St. George, William was a Blacksmith. and his place of birth was Whepstead, which is about 7 miles West of Bradfield St. George. Their granddaughter, Eliza, aged 5, was with them.
    In 1871, they were living at Maypole Green and William's place of birth was Whepstead.
    n the 1881 census William and Hannah were living at 10 Hardwick Road, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
    In the 1891 census, Hannah was a widow, living at 10 Hardwick Road, Bury St. Edmunds, with her daughter Gelina and her husband, Harry Baldwin.

Anna Wade, born 8 June 1836, Bradfield St George, Suffolk, baptized 18 May 1837, Bradfield St George, Suffolk, married 1855, in Bradfield St George, Suffolk, David Coulson Huffey, born 23 December 1834, Rattlesden, Suffolk, baptized: 2 May 1841, Suffolk, (son of William Huffey and Ann King Mayhew) died 23 January 1903, Brettenham, Suffolk. Anna died 24 March 1927, Brettenham, Suffolk. David was a Master Blacksmith in Brettenham from 1885 - 1890.


  4. John Wade baptized 12 July 1840, Bradfield St George, Suffolk. He married Eliza Roberts, 1869 in Cockfield, Suffolk, born about 1848 in London, Middlesex, (daughter of John Roberts and Elizabeth Lambert).
    In the 1881 census John & Eliza and their adopted son Cecil were living at Thorpe St, Thorpe Le Soken, Essex.
    In 1891 and 1901 they were at Hare Geen Smithy, Great Bromley, Essex. John was a Blacksmith & cecil was a Cycle Agent.
