He married Ann Nunn, 15 August 1823, in Tostock, Suffolk, born 1 March 1801, (daughter of John Nunn and Mary Ruddock) died 13 November 1865, Rome, New York. Mark died 27 August 1877, Rome, New York. Mark Marriott and Ann Nunn emigrated on 28 June 1836; sailed from London, St.Catherine's dock on the vessel St. James (Captain Seber, commanding) and arrived in New York on August 8. Mark Marriott started a blacksmithing business at 319 W. Dominick St., Rome, NY in the 1830s. His son Martin ran the business with him and it continued for many years.

Merab was also known as Meerat, Meerab and Murab. In the 1841 census John and Merab were living at Little Green, Hessett, Suffolk. He was an Agricultural labourer. In the 1851 census, John and Merab were living at Range Green, Hessett, Suffolk. He was a farm labourer.

   • Mark Bradley, baptized 8 January 1837, Tostock, Suffolk. Mark shows up in the 1881 census in the home of Mathew Marriot, farmer of 220 acres, Crow Croft Manor Farm, Wattisham, Suffolk. Mark was a visitor, no occupation and gave his age as 40 years. He was a widower.

   He married (2) Patience Fisher, 1862, born about 1815, Woolpit, Suffolk, (daughter of Robert Fisher). Martin died 16 October 1884, Great Barton, Suffolk. In the 1841, 1851, 1861 and 1871 censuses, Martin was a master blacksmith living at The Street, Great Barton, Suffolk. In 1871 John Marriott, his nephew, was living with them, he was 16 years old & was a Blacksmith's Apprentice. In 1855 he was listed as a blacksmith and postmaster. In the 1881 census, he was a blacksmith living at Bury Road, Great Barton, Suffolk, with Patience. Martin, Winifred and Patience were all buried at Holy Innocents Parish Church, Great Barton, Suffolk.

Susannah died 1879, Tostock, Suffolk. Susannah 879 as Huffee . Susannah could write. She signed her name when married as Susannah Bradly. Marriage witnessed by Charles and Sarah Huffey. They both made their "mark". Also, John could not write, he made his "mark" when married and his occupation was given as a laborer. He was a "horsekeeper" when Charles married Sarah Snell. His father's name was recorded as "Cotton Huffy" at John's marriage. The 1851 census lists him as living at The Green, Tostock. In the 1861, 1871 & 1881 census he is living at Leys Road, Tostock.
