She married Isaac Choate, 18 October 1754, in Stowmarket, Suffolk, (son of John Choate and Ann King), baptized 22 September 1724, Great Finborough, Suffolk, buried: 11 January 1797, Great Finborough, Suffolk. Martha died before 1778. Charles Colson was the marriage witness when Isaac married Martha Colson. Isaac died in the Great Finborough Workhouse in 1797.

Martha died 1 April 1839, Rattlesden, Suffolk, buried: 5 April 1839, Rattlesden, Suffolk. Marriage witnesses were John Shipp & Jeremiah Jarman. Banns were read February 17, 1788.

    1. Martha Huffey, born about 1789. She married John Steggals, 5 November 1816, in Rattlesden, Suffolk, born about 1788, (son of Caleb Steggals and Elizabeth Osborne. Samuel Huffey was a witness at Martha's marriage to John.
    2. John Huffey, baptized 23 May 1790, Rattlesden, Suffolk. Nothing more is known about John.
    3. Sarah Huffey, baptized 6 November 1791, Rattlesden, Suffolk, buried: 18 May 1817, Rattlesden, Suffolk.
    4. Roger Huffey, born 8 November 1793, Rattlesden, Suffolk, baptized 3 March 1793/94, Rattlesden, Suffolk. Roger was christened as a pauper. No trace of him since then.
    5. Charles Cowson Huffey, born 11 August 1795, Rattlesden, Suffolk, baptized 26 September 1795, Rattlesden, Suffolk. He married Mary Howlett, 1 May 1817, in Tostock, Suffolk, born about 1791, Suffolk, (daughter of John Howlett and Mary Parr), buried: 29 January 1832, Rattlesden, Suffolk. Baptized as Charles Cowson. Married as Charles Causton. Charles Colson when his first son was baptized. Occupations as a laborer and a farmer. He was Cotton Huffy when John was married and his occupation given as a Servant. John Howlett was the marriage witness when he married Mary. Mary: The burial register gives Mary's age as 40.
    6. Samuel Huffey, born 19 September 1797, Rattlesden, Suffolk, baptized 1 October 1797, Rattlesden, Suffolk, occupation Laborer & Thatcher. He married Susannah Tyler, 27 October 1820, in Bardwell, Suffolk, (daughter of John Tyler and Elizabeth Wells) baptized 13 July 1798, Ixworth, Suffolk, buried: 21 April 1876, Rattlesden, Suffolk. Samuel buried: 23 December 1873, Rattlesden, Suffolk. Samuel lived in Keeper's Mead, Rattlesden from before 1845 until his death in 1873. The house is first mentioned in Robert Gillingham's will dated December 15, 1787, which he leaves to his daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Hinnel. She sold the house to George Steel for £80 on October 4, 1804 who bequeathed the house to his son George. Samuel had rented the cottage for a number of years until he bought it for £12 on June 12, 1845.
      "All that piece or parcel of land (upon which a messuage tenement or cottage and outbuildings stood and were occupied therewith until the month of June last when they were destroyed by fire)..". Samuel borrowed £40 from Isaac Hynard on April 17, 1846 and a further £30 on April 28, 1847. His son-in-law, William Brown, paid off the mortgage on June 9, 1873 and the property was conveyed to him. Samuel's daughter, Susan, sold the cottage on April 15, 1891. It had previously been occupied by Charles Huffey.
      His address in the 1841 census was Stow Road, Rattlesden and in 1871 as The Street, Rattlesden. He was shown to be a laborer and a thatcher.
    7. William Huffey, born 24 June 1800, Rattlesden, Suffolk, baptized 5 October 1800, Rattlesden, Suffolk, occupation Laborer. He married Ann King Mayhew, 20 October 1826, in Onehouse, Suffolk, born about 1807, (daughter of Mary Ann Mayhew) baptized 28 October 1807, Buxhall, Suffolk, buried: 8 April 1865, Rattlesden, Suffolk. William buried: 28 January 1882, Rattlesden, Suffolk. His address in 1841 & 1851 census as Upper St, Rattlesden. Address in 1861 & 1871 census as 21 High St, Rattlesden. The 1881 census shows William as a lodger in the home of Edward Rausey in High St, Rattlesden. His wife, Ann, died in 1865. His occupation was a laborer when Ellen was born. Ann: Probably Ann King Mayhew baseborn daughter of Mary Ann Mayhew baptized October 28, 1807 in Buxhall. Mary Ann daughter of Nathaniel & Mary (Groom). 1851 census return for Rattlesden shows Ann as aged 45 and born in Ipswich. 1861 census return for Brettenham shows Ann as aged 55 and born in Buxhall, she was staying with her son, David. She could not write and made her "mark" when Ellen was born.
    8. Susan Huffey, born 26 May 1805, Rattlesden, Suffolk, baptized 9 June 1805, Rattlesden, Suffolk. She married William Bird, 14 October 1825, in Rattlesden, Suffolk, born 1801.
